Thanks for visiting my blog! I created this blog to be able to put my story ideas down somewhere where I could share them with my friends and family. If you're here because I sent you here, thanks!!! I love it when people read my blog!
Some things you should know; I love writing but I'm just a novice which means I'm not that good. Also I'm really bad at updating, but I'm slightly better if I think someone's actually reading my blog. But the thing I'm worst at is finishing.
Thanks for reading anyway. Please leave comments. And if you want me to continue any story leave a comment or message me on Facebook or email me.
Thanks,
Ashley

My Brother, Cupid Part 12

I stayed with Dewey over the weekend. It was like spending the weekend in a haunted house. At night the house was a lot worse then during the day you could hear the it literally creep. I'm surprised I got a wink of sleep. On Monday I went back to school. It was a little far from Dewey's house so he drove me there. I braced myself for another run-in with Haley.
As I walked into my first class I looked at her and couldn't help smiling. I, luckily, avoided saying anything to her. This smile made her melt downwards into her chair as if she was trying to get away. I felt the same way. Unfortunately I couldn't get away from the stupid love magic.
A whole week went by. My mom called almost every day, no one really trusts Dewey, even if they've only heard his voice. Dewey was a great host, he fed me, gave me a ton of candy (it's kinda his thing), and even did the normal fatherly things. Chase didn't ever find me. And Haley and I managed to avoid all contact.
That was until I came home one day to a house smelling like despair and blood. Dracula came into the living room as he quickly addressed me. "Ve quick. I have a Holiday meeting very soon," he said.
"Wait! A Holiday meeting? Do you remember that I'm trying to avoid my brother? Why would you invite him to the very place where I'm hiding?" I said.
"I vemember. I try to avoid everyone, see how vell that works," he said, but seeing the panic on my face he said, "Relax. He's not even coming. He's very very sick." This was followed by an evil laugh.
"He's sick?" I asked.
"I don't sink so. I sink he is incapable of becoming Cupid because he's so vorried about you," Dracula said. He then turned around and said, "You are vree to join us in the meeting, if you dare. I don't know what's its avout."
"Really? Chase, I mean Cupid, never lets me join in on the meetings," I said.
"I'm not supposed too either," he said leaving. I decided to join him and I followed him to his meeting room.
"Dracula, you are always late to the meetings in your own house," I heard Santa say as he walked into the room.
"I don't even know vat the meeting is about," was Dracula's response.
"I thought it was obvious," Santa said with a sigh, "Hasn't Cupid been calling all week? We have to find-" The room fell silent as I entered. All eyes turned to me.
"Him," the turkey said finishing Santa's sentence.

Apples to Apples and more Apples

Sorry, I haven't been blogging for a while. Right now I'm sitting in Study Skills with nothing to do. So what I'm going to do is write a story using only adjectives from the green Apples to Apples cards, I hope this turns out okay.

Cloe walked from the place she worked to her spicy, sexy car and drove to her dainty, misunderstood apartment. She threw her exciting keys on to the counter and checked the messages on her phone. Her eyes grew wide: 50 messages. She checked her messages everyday how could they pile up like this. She pressed play as she started to prepare her dangerous dinner of an apple, tuna sandwich, and lemonade.
The first message started as "Hey Cloe, it's . . . that's not right."
She looked up with a stereotyped look on her face.
The second message was, "Cloe, it's ... that's not right either."
"Who is leaving these messages?" she painfully mused.
"Hey! Clo, how you doing? . . . no, no, no." the third one furiously said.
"This is Brad. Cloe . . . what?!? That one doesn't work either." the fourth one said.
So it was Brad, a funny co-worker, who was leaving the puffy messages. She kept on listening through the messages, some were fragrant, some were corrupt, and others were fabulous. Some got farther then others. By the end she knew that he was asking her out on a date but she waited until the last message.
She kept an unreal laugh the whole time. "Oh, Brad," she said with a glitzy look on her face.
That was until the last one which was, "Hi Cloe. Brad here. Was wondering if you would be willing to go out with me on Friday? I was just thinking of getting dinner and then going bowling. Call me back. Okay, bye."
She finished eating being fully outraged by her meal, and walked over to the visionary phone. She picked it up and called him. A few rings after she heard a, "Hello?"
"Hey, Brad. it's Cloe. And yes, I would love to go out with me. But next time don't call me fifteen times, okay?" she said with a timeless laugh.
"Got it. Bye." he said.
"Bye," she said and she hung up the phone with a shallow thud.

I just want to conclude by saying that this story shows how much an adjective can change a word. I had a ton of fun writing this one.

How to Brush Your Teeth

Step-by-step instructions on how to brush your teeth.
1. Find toothpaste and toothbrush.
2. Hold toothbrush horizontally with left hand with the bristles up.
3. Hold the toothpaste vertically with your right hand. Have opening about 1/4 of an inch above the bristles.

5. Put the toothbrush in your mouth.
6. Rub the right half of your teeth getting the front, back, and top of both your bottom and your top teeth. Go from the back of your mouth to the middle.
7. When you get to the middle switch the left hand to the right hand and do #6 on the left hand to the right hand and do #6 on the left half.
8. Repeat steps #6-7 until two minutes are up.
9. Remove the toothbrush.
10. Turn on water and run your toothbrush under it.
11. Wipe off your mouth with a towel.
12. Put toothbrush and toothpaste away.

The Strange Kids

Gee. I skipped a lot of important words in this story. I'll just have to guess.

The red, cold apple landed softly on the others as I reached for another one. Something caught my eye as a passing cart went by. In the back there was two girls, one was wearing a green dress and had curly brown hair, the other had a lavender dress and straight pale blond hair. They were accompanied by a boy who had brown hair and was wearing a green shirt. In the front was a boy with the same color of the hair as the girl with the lavender dress, who was driving the cart. They couldn't be older then 14, yet they rode all alone. The brunette girl was holding something that she put down and grabbed a green bag instead. They stopped the cart and the blond boy joined them in the back and grabbed the green bag. The girls leaned forward and back covering their mouths. I couldn't tell what they were doing but it looked like they were smiling. The blond girl seemed to be mouthing the words, "What are we going to do with you, Pete?" I didn't know for sure because I couldn't hear them. The kid named Pete opened his mouth showing them what ever he was eating. I felt my nose fold up at the top. The girls weren't covering their mouth any more, and I realized they were laughing. Pete handed the brunette boy the bag, who pulled out a loaf of bread. He handed it to the girls who pulled out some bread too.

Another Place, Another Time

"If there was an answer he find it there."

The Harlins took the orphan boy on the cart. The train tracks spread across the deep blue waves creating a bridge. There was nothing to see for miles, except crystal water calmly playing against the tracks. The Harlin parents were driving the cart, their little boy stood by the orphan, "Why do you want to go to Sandandy?" he asked knowing the odd orphan boy wouldn't talk to him. He didn't. But he silently answered to himself,
